The Raiders Competitive Baseball Program (CBP) was organized under the Navarre Youth Sports Association (NYSA) for the purposes of promoting competitive baseball at the amateur level. The CBP is a year-round program which administers travel baseball teams within the NYSA. Currently there is an 11U travel team coached by Cindy King.. If you are interested in establishing a team, information is available under Join CBP.
Raiders CBP is a non-profit initiative organized and managed by its Board of Directors, coaches, players, parents and volunteers. Everyone involved donates their time and efforts. We are very dedicated to making the program successful and want our players to have fun while learning the fundamentals of baseball. It's a big commitment, but we love it! If you are interested in volunteering, information is also available under Join CBP. |

The CBP is organized for the purpose of developing, regulating and promoting competitive baseball activities at the amateur level. The purposes for which the CBP is organized include, but are not limited to, organization of teams for the development and promotion of competitive baseball. The committee will fall under the NYSA Board of Directors. The CBP is a year-round program that is recognized from December 1 to November 31 and from August 1 to July 31 going forward. Select Teams will be under Recreational Baseball Guidelines during the recreational baseball season through May 31, unless All Star player selection is after that date. Beginning June 1 through December 31 Select Teams will be governed by the CBP. The Competitive Baseball Committee is responsible for all CBP activities and will report directly to the NYSA Board of Directors.
CBP has their own bylaws and Board of Directors. The teams that participate in this program travel to different parts of the Florida panhandle and further to compete. Some of the teams do all for their player to play both competitive and recreational baseball. However, the recreational program comes first at NYSA, so if there is a schedule conflict, recreational baseball takes precedence. This should be discussed with the coach of the team, due to the fact that some coaches prefer the player to only commit to competitive baseball.
The CBP coaches all volunteer and are very dedicated to this program. Everyone involved with CBP wants the players to have fun and learn the fundamentals of baseball. It is a big commitment by all: players, coaches, moms and dads. |
